I loved the article. It was very forthcoming, which is appreciative.

I’m glad you enjoyed reading this Genia 🙂

I loved this post! So honest and balanced. I think what Gabrielle said makes so much sense–there are pros and cons with ANY family composition but nothing can make up for having stable loving parents. That is key. Gabrielle shows she has that (she is securely attached) and seems so well adjusted and thoughtful. Thank you both so much for sharing.

          Hi Steph,
My apologies for just seeing this. Gabbie is a wide girl for her age. Thank you so much for taking the time to read.

I really loved this blog. It’s actually the only one I’ve read from you. I’ve been following you on IG for a while. I really love the honesty in this post. I’ll be married next year but my fiance and I are already talking about children. Do we want them? How many? Etc. Many of my friends have just had their first child. It’s so difficult and it’s a big decision!

Hi Autumn, I’ms so glad you took chance to come over and read a post. 🙂 The decision to have children let alone an only is one you must ponder for sure as it is a forever thing. Don’t rush your decision, because once they are here you can’t give them back lol. Take your time. It’s a tough decision. XO

As an only child, with an only child, I appreciated both sides of this! I think a common misconception is that onlies are spoiled or overly competitive. I am neither and I hope to raise my little boy to be thankful and laid back (but also driven). Thanks for the read! I enjoyed it.

Mother of an only child this was great to read and on point. I only found it by trying to show my mom your blog!! I’m sharing w my daughter now. Our daughter Is our miracle baby (3years to get pregnant) which is nothing compared to some. You and your daughter are a blessing to so many. I’m so thankful to have started following you on IG ! Thanks for sharing

Hi Tracy, I’m so happy to have you here. My daughter and I worked on this article almost a year ago and I wanted to find the right time to share it. I’m glad I did. Hoping it would help some people. Your daughter is certainly a miracle baby, you are so blessed to have her. Congratulations sweetie!

I loved this article. Thank you for sharing your story. You are both impressive ladies. I have a middle school boy who seems to have lots of friends, share and be a good citizen. He is a smart, outgoing only child. I am hoping he looks back on his life and childhood and feels he had a good one.

Hi Shara, I hope this helped to put into perspective some things for you. Being an only isn’t always easy as there are, as you can see, pros and cons. Sending XO
