Happy Monday to you loves! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine went well, we celebrated my husband’s 51st birthday and I thankfully quickly recovered from a mild case of food poisoning. From what I hear, it can last for a few days. Not fun.
I’m so happy to finally share with you our twin bed guest room. It was the last space I tackled. At first we were going to put a full or queen size bed in there, but with my two nieces staying over often, the fact that we are looking into becoming foster parents and the natural layout of the room, it only made sense that we consider a twin bed guest room. Raymour and Flanigan was there once again as a go to source for us finding the beds we were looking for. At first, we had considered some wood beds, but I thought it would be nice to introduce another texture in the home, so I chose the Fenton wrought iron bed. I love the pretty curves on it and the color of the frame. The pretty bronze color I knew would look lovely against the white walls in the room.
We also ended up getting some mattresses there. It was super fun trying them out making sure we picked some nice ones that people would enjoy sleeping on. I also learned so much about mattresses shopping that day. I had no idea Raymour and Flanigan had such a wide variety of mattresses at such different price points. This was good information to know seeing that my sister too was in the market for one. POP QUIZ: did you know you would spend one third of your life on a mattress? Taking this mattress quiz will help you to find one just right for you. My daughter has enjoyed sleeping in the guest room on both her visits home from NY this holiday season. On her first night here she said “mom I slept so good”… I knew right then our guest room was ready and complete.
“I have partnered with Raymour & Flanigan and received product in exchange for this post. All expressed opinions are 100% my own. Full disclosure.”
So lovely! Your nieces are going to love staying with you. ?Hubby and I went mattress shopping yesterday. I was exhausted by the end of the day!
Isn’t mattress shopping the best and so fun. An easy excuse to act silly. XO
