Introduce color. I’ve done this easily by adding a pop of yellow with this soft chenille yellow throw blanket I found from Pier1.
Spring officially arrives on March 20th and I’m sure you are anxiously awaiting it’s arrival. I finally hear birds in the morning and daffodils are in full bloom in our yard. We are excitedly also finishing up a patio project with Home Depot that will allow us to enjoy the warmer weather outside when it arrives. In the meantime, today, I’m sharing some inexpensive ideas on how to bring Spring into your home.
Add colorful and patterned pillows that say spring. Normally I have neutrals all around, but I just fell in love with this pretty medallion patterned pillow and soft pink velvet pillow I picked up at World Market. I honesty love this pillow too and wish I had gotten it. The flowers are SO pretty!
Add blooming branches. If you can’t find any real ones in your backyard/neighborhood, try getting some faux ones. They are in the floral department of many craft store, and I’m loving these ones from Pier 1 Imports.

Upcyling something by painting it in a pretty color. A dresser, a picture frame, a side table…your options are endless.

In the dining room it’s super simple. Add a table runner with pretty spring colors. I spotted many at HomeGoods and I recently picked up this striped one for a party a few weeks ago that I hosted.
So as you can see, these are really simple ideas that won’t break the impact that bring pretty Spring colors into your home.
