Well the day is here and I’m so excited to finally share this year’s holiday home tour with you all. This year is extra fun and special because I’ve teamed up with 9 other fabulously talented bloggers for a Blogger’s Home Tour. I had to think about what parts of the home to share, because they aren’t all done at the same time but I’m happy to share the mudroom, family room and dining room with you all. So let’s get to it shall we. The theme this year is a plaid rustic woodland. I hope you enjoy the tour.
At our house, there is a mudroom breezeway that separates the house from the garage. Earlier this year I gave it a fresh makeover. If you missed that makeover, hop over here to see the before. It was uuuuugly! LOL. The details: The faux fur trimmed stocking I thought would be nice to add some texture and warmth. The red ticked fabric I added around the tray again to add texture and color to the area. The wood rustic trees are sold in my online shop here.
This is the opposite wall right across the picture I shared above. The details: The red Merry Christmas sign and the mini red chalk board I had already from last year. I put freshly cut greenery into a pitcher I found very inexpensively at Michael’s. The checkered buck hand towel I found in the $1 section at Target. The rustic hand towel holder is sold in my online shop and can be found here.
This little chair/door seating was a find at a local furniture refurbishing store. We still have yet to work more on it, but it’s the perfect little spot in the mudroom to hang accessories and sit on to put your shoes on etc…The Letters to Santa pillow can be found here
The wreath, I LOVE because it’s perfectly imperfect and the soft fabric like feel of the leaves gives off a nice texture. Find the wreath here.
I thought adding the galvanized tray was a nice rustic touch and the pine cones rounded out filling the tray nicely. The green little tree bush I got at Home Depot and the little white rustic tree is sold in my shop here.
We don’t have an eat in kitchen, so all main meals take place here. I don’t like over doing the dining space. After all you need room to actually eat at the table. The details: The red and white stripped runner as well as the centerpiece I found at HomeGoods. The table and bench is from Joss and Main, the small side gray chairs are from Target. The wing back gray chair is from Arhaus and the cross back wood chairs from Restoration Hardware. The chandelier and the BELIEVE pillow are sold in my shop here.
The fabric banner above what I call “the bar” AKA console table, is made by simply cutting up stripes of coordinating fabric and tying them along a rope. This fabric project is actually re-purposed as I used it in the mimosa bar inspiration story I shared with readers in my Holiday Gift & Entertaining Guide. If you haven’t read it, it’s a must read for gift and entertaining ideas. Read it here. The console table I purchased from Decor Steals.
The “bar”. Well these little checkered melamine plates I fell in love with the moment I spotted them at the Target $1 spot. Now-a-days many items, like this set of plates, are actually $3. The spot quite frankly should be renamed…but that’s just my opinion. The checkered dish cloth, and straws were also found in the same spot in Target. The gold based drinking glasses are from World Market and the liquor container is from West Elm.
My white slipcovered furniture is from Four Seasons. Google them and find your closest retailer.
The beautiful green lantern I picked up at TJMaxx and the white lantern and tray are from Pier 1
So in love with this sign and it was the perfect spot right above the TV! It’s from Down Grace Lane
The tree topper was purchased from Target and the ornaments were purchased from a mix of stores, including Pier 1, Target and HomeGoods.
I wanted this little galvanized table to be bursting with charm and cuteness. The little wood tree I found at HomeGoods. I love how the mix of fresh cut winter greens looks with the cotton stems. Cotton stems can be found in my shop here.
The framed print I downloaded last year from Craftberry Bush and the “oh deer” plaid sign I got from Target.
This tabletop tree I bought last year from a beautiful home store called LaFluer in Columbus Ohio. I miss it so much. I added a little fabric around the bottom to hide the base. It’s the same fabric I used in the mudroom around the bottom of the little tree plant. The burlap wrapped cone I got from Target. The clock is from HomeGoods and the lamp from Pottery Barn.
My vintage ladder is always decked out with a seasonal throw and per the usual, this one I found at Target. Also from Target (one of my favorite stores if you can’t tell) are the pillow, the checkered mat and the little green tree. The & sign was purchased from Hobby Lobby and the rustic star from Pier1. I really love how this little nook turned out. I love to use texture when I style and this has enough to satisfy my soul.
I totally had fun doing the mantle! The Merry Christmas banner I purchased from Pier 1 as well as both deer, which I shared with my followers on my Instagram page and the pine trees. The white rustic trees I sell in my shop. The red stocking I got from Target and the white chenille one I got from Pottery Barn last year.
The rustic wood stump is actually a fire starter for a bonfire from Home Depot. I also picked up the galvanized lantern from there this summer as well for a steal at only $10.
