Happy Saturday loves and welcome to July! Today I’m talking about my Summer white bedding update with Annie Selke. Oh my where has half the year already gone? I’m like auuugggghhh time is going by so fast and I feel like there is so much more I want to get accomplished before the end of the year. Have you gotten everything done you set out to do this year? Are there any New Years resolutions you haven’t been able to meet? I think we all, with our busy lives, are constantly juggling so much. Don’t feel bad if you haven’t
When it comes to Summer, white is at the top of my list when it comes to color I like to wear. The same goes for my bedding. There is just something about white that goes beautifully with the season. I love all shades of white, ivory, creamy white, bright white…all so relaxing and welcoming. Summer white is a look I’m always excited to incorporate into my every day life. So when I needed to update and brighten my bedroom for the Summer, I turned to my favorite bedding company Annie Selke’s Pine Cone Hill because I have been a fan of there bedding ever since I learned about them working at Lillian August many years ago and how well made and luxurious there linens are. Their quality is tops in the industry. If you follow me Instagram, you would have seen the current bedding I had on there from Pine Cone Hill as well as on this blog post.
At first I was going to get the Pine Cone Hill Savannah Linen White Gauze Bedspread because it reminded me of my current one AND it was linen, which is my FAVORITE natural fibers. Also, what says Summer like linen. I was so sad when I learned it was out of stock … cue the tears. So off I went, searching for an alternative. I quickly feel in love with the Classic Ruffle line.
My hubby and I travel to lots of luxury hotels and this collection I found to exactly the type of bedding we would find in one of these hotels as well as it was not to feminine (always considering that it’s my hubby’s bedroom too). I picked out the duvet cover, pillow shams and the bed skirt. At first, to be honest, I didn’t think I wanted the bed skirt, but let me tell you, boy oh boy did that little change complete the look. I tried the duvet on with the classic split corner bedskirt we had on there and it was not happening for me. Ewwww. My eyes LOL. The dust ruffle made all the difference. Our bedroom looks like a Summer retreat and every night I ease into bed with a big smile on my face. (even my hubby comment on how nice the duvet felt on his skin…again just like in a luxury hotel) I’m eyeing the sheet set as I just love how the fabric of the duvet feels on my skin. This collection is a must have if you want to update your bedroom in summer white in a classic and elegant way.
I hope you are inspired to creating your very own Summer White bedroom retreat!
I acknowledge that Annie Selke is partnering with me on this post. All opinions above are my own and my experience with the product and brand.

Beautiful lovely adorable, what I got from it is to discover sweet sleep always. Good work I too like it and update my bedroom like it.
Sleep is so important to me. Without a good night rest, I wouldn’t be so happy 🙂
