The banner, kid you not, was sitting in the back of my SUV. It has been there for a year. I just figured it was about time it was used. The Home of the Brave circle sign I picked up from Pier 1. I LOVE it! 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. It still doesn’t trump Christmas however 🙂
4th of July Decorations In The Home
Excuse the mantle, we are in the midst of redecorating the fireplace area…stay tuned. Anyhow, the blue star I picked up from Pier! The little star and candle with candle stick I already had in my home. Shop your home, You would be surprised at what you have.
The 4th of July is all about celebrating this beautiful country we call the United States. Lots of outdoor parties and BBQ will be happening this weekend, but I wanted to share with you how I brought 4th of July decorations into the home. Simply and easily, without spending a lot of money.
Both the red and blue pillows I picked up at HomeGoods
The flower pot already came darlingly wrapped from my local Big Y supermarket. The white lantern I picked up from Pier 1 and the candle from Yankee Candle. The scent is soon good. (if you follow me on snapchat (at Sandra Downie) I mentioned the smell a few times.
I simply dropped a flag I picked up last year over the mirror that hangs in the spot. No need to remove it. I also added a little pop of blue with the little metal lantern in the vignette.
As you can see adding 4th of July decorations to your home doesn’t need to be loud or over done. Subtle touches are just as patriotic.
