- 8-10 cups granny smith apples
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
- ½ cup softened butter
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon (feel free to put a little more if you’d like)
- 1 tsp of salt
- Preheat oven to 350
- Peel, core and cut apples into chunks. Place apples in a buttered baking dish no larger than 9 x 13.
- In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients til crumbly. I like to use two forks to make the mixing easier. Sprinkle the crumble evenly over the apples. Bake 40-45 mins.
- Serve with whipped cream or ice cream and enjoy.
