A Blooming Easter Brunch Tablescape

Pink velvet pillow is from World Market. The yellow pillow on the bench and throw are from Pier1.

I’m totally feeling spring in the air aren’t you! I saw a blue jay the other day and I knew, spring was truly tapping on my door. ¬†We hit 70 degrees here in Connecticut this week and man oh man I was feeling FABULOUS that day. There is something about the beginning of spring that brings new life and meaning to me. I feel invigorated to start something new, to be a better version of me. It’s weird sounding I know, but the changes make me happy. Speaking of happy. You all know I love flowers and I’m seeing so many pretty colors in the stores now. They make me giddy happy every time I pick up some new ones. The choices expand SO much with what I can buy in the warmer months.

With Easter just a few weeks away, I had to start thinking about my Easter Brunch tablescape. I went into Pier 1 the other day (if you follow me on snapchat @sandradownie you would have seen me on this shopping trip). Well while there I saw these beautiful plates that reminded me of a field of blooming flowers and I knew I would design the tablescape with a blooming floral color theme.
