Chia Oatmeal

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup almond or oat milk
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Salt to taste
  1. In a medium saucepan add the milk, water and oats. Bring to a low boil. Add in oats, chia seeds vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt. Cook for 5 mins. Add brown sugar and serve. Try adding fresh fruit or chopped nuts for added fiber.
